1st XI Cricket - The team

Biography: Matty (Casper) has come on massively and is predominantly a bowler who has opened the bowling for the 2nd XI on many occasions. He bowls a tight line and is able to move the ball bowling a consistent line and length with a skiddy action. He is also very quick and a good ground fielder. We did not see a lot of Matthew last year as he worked most Saturdays but his availability this year will be welcomed and strengthen the Oxton attack. Matty's skipper will be keen to wrap him up in cotton wool this season and he is also learning the trade of pulling pints behind the bar to keep him out of trouble.
