Calling All Volunteers

Updated: Mar 14

Clubs are encouraged to run a Get Set Weekend to get their facilities ready for the start of the 2024 cricket season.

The Get Set Weekend has for many years been a pre-season focal point for clubs up and down the country.

The weekend is a fantastic opportunity to inspire new and existing volunteers to spend time at their local club, helping it to ‘get set’ for the upcoming season.

The Get Set Weekend is powered by The Cricket Collective; the volunteers who drive and deliver all areas of the sport. In 2022, over 20,000 people got involved across England and Wales, supporting their clubs and local communities.

We will be working at the Club on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March with many jobs required to prepare the facilities for the new season. With pre-season matches on the horizon it's important that the practice net area, covers, sightscreens and much more are ready for action so any help would be much appreciated even if it's for an hour or two at some point during the weekend. (9:30am - 4pm)
