Jack Smith is an ex-first class cricketer from Australia, registered psychologist and Level 2 Cricket Coach. An outstanding opening batsman and captain, Jack made his first class debut for South Australia at the Adelaide Oval against Victoria in 2004 following record breaking A-grade and State 2ndXI seasons. A full-time scholarship holder with the Australian Cricket Academy in 2002 and top scorer for the Prime Ministers XI v New Zealand in 2001, Jack is well respected among cricketing circles for his playing ability and leadership qualities. He moved to England in 2007 for family reasons and played 5 consecutive seasons with Neston CC as their overseas player and club coach. During this time he amassed over 4,000 league runs including the Cheshire Premier League runs record in 2009.
