OXTON CRICKET & SPORTS CLUB
Bowls Section
Oxton Cricket & Sports Club has a long standing crown green bowls section comprising several dozen playing members.
Whilst members can play at any time (weather permitting and providing the green is suitable to play on) they have mainly been gathering on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons during the summer months (April to September) from 1:30pm onwards. The hardier souls amongst them even bowl during the winter months but start a little earlier due to the reduced number of daylight hours.

Upcoming Fixtures
The green itself is one of the larger greens in the area being 38.6 x 39.6m (42.2 x 43.3yds).
We currently have teams participating in the Birkenhead & Wirral Evening league and the Ellesmere Port Veterans Afternoon League.
Internal competitions are held throughout the summer season. Dates for these will be published soon. Please keep an eye on the Bowls Hut notice board or this website for updates.
