​Access to the Tennis Courts

A temporary padlock is on the gate until the permanent one is fixed.  The number for this can be found on the members WhatsApp group.  Please make sure you secure the padlock when leaving!!!!

Floodlights

Almost ready for use - slight delay with a problem with the contractors cutting through cables but will be available very soon.

Court Booking

Please remember the tennis section need to be encouraging the wider community to use the tennis courts.  As such please use the Playtomic App to book courts for social hits - don't leave it to chance!!

Matches and other formal sessions will be blocked out.

Booking the courts also builds an overall picture of  on court activity.

 

Heads Up!

There are several club events this year and you can read all about them on the main club website.  But just to note there are 2 dates where parking may be difficult - Thursday 25th June  and Sunday 5th July.  Nothing to stop social play - just be aware of parking.​

Tennis AGM

Historically this has been held in late January/early February.  However as of this year the Main club AGM ruled that section AGMs must be held before the end of the year.  So our 2026 AGM will be held in late November/early December. More on this in due course.

Tennis Name

For clarity - we are not registered with the LTA as Oxton Tennis Club. We are registered as Oxton Tennis Section which is under the umbrella of Oxton Cricket & Sports Club.  - So we should refer to ourselves as Oxton Tennis Section please.
