Oxton Cricket Club is an ECB Premier League Cricket Club in Cheshire. Established in 1875, our home ground is Townfield Lane, Oxton.
The cricket club is ECB Clubmark accredited (providing a sustainable, safe, family friendly welcoming club environment) and part of Oxton Cricket & Sports Club.

We run 4 senior teams on a Saturday and 2 teams on a Sunday.

The Saturday 1st XI play in the ECB Cheshire County Cricket League, 1st XI Premier League, whilst the 2nd XI will play in the Cheshire County Cricket League 2nd XI Premier Division. The 3rd XI, following promotion in 2023, play in the Cheshire County Cricket League 2nd XI. The 4th XI play in the Cheshire Cricket League Division B West.

On Sundays, we run 2 teams; the Sunday 3rd XI play in the Cheshire County Cricket League 3rd XI Division 3 West and our Women's 1st XI play in Cheshire Women's Cricket League Division 4.

Finally we have a midweek Over 40s team playing most Wednesdays.

In addition to all of the above we have a thriving Junior section with teams ranging from under 9’s to under 19’s.

For those new to the game aged 5-8yrs we are running an exciting All Stars Cricket Course in conjunction with the ECB. Unfortunately this course is now fully subscribed for 2026 but please check back again next year.
