The draw for the Cheshire County Cricket League T20 competition has been released.
The format, first used in 2025 sees Division 2 & 3 teams entering qualifying groups with 8 teams then progressing to the next stage - joining the 24 teams from Division 1 and the Premier League in 8 groups of 4 teams.
Last season Oxton's run ended disappointingly at Chester Boughton Hall falling 14 runs short of the 163 target in the first knockout round (having qualified 2nd from our group).
Oxton won the competition in 2024 with a 32 run victory over Lindow in the final and will be hoping for more success in 2026.
The draw sees Oxton play a qualifying team (from Div 2 or 3), a home match against Maritime CC on Thursday 11th June and a trip to Alvanley on Thursday 18th June.
